HSE Inspector – Scaffolding

About the role

Samsung E&A is seeking an experienced HSE Inspector specialized in scaffolding to ensure all scaffold installations on a large‑scale project comply with international standards and project‑specific requirements. The role involves coaching, training, and field coaching across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and advise SE&A, subcontractor supervisors, foremen and workers on HSE culture and scaffold safety.
• Review scaffold design calculations, drawings and load classifications before erection.
• Verify that only trained and certified scaffolders perform erection, modification, or dismantling.
• Conduct field coaching, effectiveness assessments and support subcontractor implementation of improvement recommendations.

Required profile

• Degree in HSE, Engineering, Project Management, Psychology or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably over 40 years of age.
• Completed CISRS Certified/ADNOC Approved Training Centre program.

Required skills

• Scaffolding inspection and compliance with ADNOC standards (HSE‑OS‑ST 16) and BS EN 12811.
• CISRS or equivalent third‑party certification.
• Ability to review scaffold design calculations and load classifications.
• Strong communication with all project levels.
