Construction Manager – Automated People Mover (APM)

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the delivery of Automated People Mover (APM) systems within airport terminals. You will oversee construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and operational readiness while ensuring safety, quality, and alignment with live‑airport constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Manage construction and interface coordination for APM systems and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate between civil, structural, MEP, rail, and operational stakeholders.
• Ensure APM systems align with terminal operational requirements.
• Lead interface resolution workshops and technical coordination meetings.
• Monitor progress, logistics, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Support integrated systems testing and ORAT (Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer) activities.
• Ensure compliance with transportation safety standards and aviation operational requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Transportation Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience delivering rail, APM, or transit systems in airport environments.
• Strong interface management and systems integration experience.
• Experience in complex transportation and airport settings preferred.
