Construction Manager – MEP (PMC Background)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced MEP Construction Manager with a strong PMC background to lead the planning, coordination, execution and delivery of all mechanical, electrical and public health works on a large‑scale infrastructure project in Riyadh.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all MEP construction activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and quality compliance.
• Monitor contractor performance, review and approve submissions, shop drawings, method statements and testing procedures.
• Coordinate interfaces between MEP systems, civil works, utilities and other disciplines, and lead progress meetings and workshops.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, defect tracking and final handover, including O&M manuals and training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services or related field; Master’s desirable.
• 15+ years MEP construction and project management experience, including 8+ years in a PMC/consultancy on giga‑projects.
• Proven track record managing multidisciplinary contractors on projects > USD 500 million, with mandatory Saudi Arabia experience.

Required skills

• HVAC, power distribution, substations, ELV, fire protection, water supply & drainage, pumping stations, SCADA and BMS.
• Familiarity with Saudi Building Code, SEC, Civil Defence regulations and major Saudi standards.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Aconex, BIM and digital construction management tools.
