Consultant IVF / Reproductive Medicine

About the role

Black Pearl, a leading healthcare organization in Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced Consultant in IVF and Reproductive Medicine to join its specialist medical team. The role involves delivering senior‑level fertility care, managing complex infertility cases, and overseeing assisted reproductive technology cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consultant‑level clinical care in reproductive medicine and IVF.
• Assess and manage male and female infertility patients.
• Plan, execute, and supervise IVF and ART treatment cycles.
• Perform or oversee IVF, ICSI, oocyte retrieval, embryo transfer, and frozen embryo transfer procedures.
• Conduct ovulation induction and controlled ovarian stimulation protocols.
• Manage recurrent implantation failure and recurrent pregnancy loss when applicable.
• Collaborate with embryologists, fertility nurses, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Maintain patient safety, clinical governance, and accurate documentation.
• Participate in service development, teaching, and clinical audit activities.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS, MBChB or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Formal postgraduate training or qualification in Reproductive Medicine, IVF, or Assisted Conception.
• Significant consultant‑level experience in IVF/Reproductive Medicine.
• Eligibility for Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) consultant classification.
• Ability to provide documentation for SCFHS assessment and verification.
