Consultant Thoracic Surgeon (Robotic) – Saudi Arabia

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Thoracic Surgeon to join a leading healthcare institution in Saudi Arabia, focusing on complex and minimally invasive thoracic procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality specialist care for patients with thoracic surgical conditions.
• Perform a broad range of open, minimally invasive and thoracoscopic procedures, including robotic surgery.
• Manage complex thoracic and pulmonary conditions, such as thoracic malignancies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams with oncology, pulmonology, radiology and other specialties.
• Conduct outpatient consultations, pre‑operative assessments and post‑operative follow‑up.
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Support teaching, training and mentoring of junior medical staff.

Required profile

• Medical degree with specialist qualifications in Thoracic Surgery.
• Completion of a recognized sub‑specialty fellowship in Thoracic Surgery.
• 5+ years of post‑fellowship experience, preferably with complex thoracic surgical procedures.
• Eligibility for professional registration/licensing in Saudi Arabia (SCFHS).
