CS Core Engineer – Telecom Core Network Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CS Core Engineer to join a leading telecommunications project in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on operating, maintaining, and optimizing the mobile core network across multiple platforms to ensure high availability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily operation and maintenance of CS Core network elements.
• Support MSC, MGW, HLR, HSS, UDC, IP‑STP and other core platforms.
• Conduct health checks, quarterly audits and special event audits.
• Troubleshoot network faults and service degradation.
• Execute end‑to‑end protocol and interface tracing.
• Manage and verify network configurations.
• Maintain core network performance and availability.
• Perform software upgrades and patch management.
• Carry out security and configuration audits.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Solutions and Customer Support teams.
• Document incidents, root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support network optimisation activities and ensure compliance with security standards.

Required profile

• Strong experience in CS Core operations and maintenance.
• Hands‑on troubleshooting within live telecom networks.
• Proven ability to perform protocol tracing and analysis.
• Experience with software upgrade, patch and configuration management.
• Good understanding of telecom core network architecture.
