Cybersecurity Internship

About the role

Rize is seeking a Cybersecurity Intern to join its security team in Riyadh. You will assist in protecting the company’s systems, networks, and data by monitoring alerts, supporting vulnerability assessments, and contributing to incident response.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, suspicious activities, and system logs using SIEM platforms.
• Support vulnerability assessments, document findings, and track remediation progress.
• Help implement security controls and best practices across systems and applications.
• Participate in incident response activities, including detection, analysis, and reporting.
• Maintain and improve security policies, standards, and documentation.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure secure deployment and environment configurations.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong interest in cybersecurity, risk management, and system protection.
• Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, encryption, and common security threats.
• Good communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Wireshark.
• Familiarity with Burp Suite.
• Familiarity with Nessus.
• Experience with SIEM platforms (any).
