Data Manager – Draftsman Monitoring

About the role

The Data Manager will be responsible for managing, validating, analysing and reporting survey and structural monitoring data generated across the Riyadh Metro Project. The role ensures data integrity, traceability and timely delivery of monitoring results to support engineering decisions, risk management and project compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all survey and monitoring databases, collect, organise, validate and archive monitoring observations from manual and automated systems.
• Maintain data accuracy, consistency and completeness, and implement secure backup and recovery procedures.
• Process and analyse settlement, deformation, displacement, vibration, convergence and structural movement data, monitoring trends against project thresholds.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and ad‑hoc monitoring reports, develop dashboards and visualisations for clients, consultants and project teams.
• Administer monitoring software platforms such as Leica GeoMoS, Trimble 4D Control, Power BI, SQL databases and GIS tools.
• Verify data quality, implement validation procedures, maintain audit trails and ensure compliance with contractual reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in survey and monitoring data management, preferably on metro, railway, tunnelling or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical thinking, high attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data.
• Excellent reporting, communication and time‑management skills.
