DC Operations Specialist

About the role

The Distribution Center (DC) Operations Specialist will lead daily activities within a DC, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient use of resources. This role focuses on maintaining high service levels, managing demand fluctuations, and supporting supply‑chain projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead DC operations in line with safety, SFDA, ISO and internal standards.
• Plan capacity utilization, manage seasonality, and execute crisis‑management plans.
• Conduct regular audits to verify stock accuracy, operational standards, and custody compliance.
• Monitor space utilization and optimize storage and picking layouts.
• Supervise loading/unloading processes, perform random checks, and ensure temperature and humidity control.
• Track KPI performance, review SLA compliance, and generate reports.
• Manage a team of supervisors and leads, conduct daily briefings, and coordinate manpower across shifts.
• Participate in assigned supply‑chain projects to meet division objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in distribution center or warehouse operations.
• Strong understanding of safety, regulatory (SFDA, ISO) and quality standards.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Experience using inventory management systems.
