Dean of Engineering

About the role

The Dean of Engineering will provide strategic and academic leadership for the College of Engineering, driving the development and quality of engineering programmes in line with the university’s objectives and industry needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the College of Engineering and its academic programmes.
• Develop and implement academic strategies and plans.
• Oversee faculty recruitment, performance evaluation and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation and quality‑assurance standards.
• Promote research, innovation and partnerships with industry.
• Enhance student experience, academic quality and graduate employability.
• Manage the College’s budget and allocate academic resources.
• Represent the College in internal and external academic and professional engagements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior academic leadership within engineering or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of accreditation processes and quality assurance in higher education.
• Track record of fostering research, industry collaboration and student success.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic academic plans.
