Deputy Manager, Public Relations

About the role

Lead, supervise and direct the public relations activities that support YASREF, ensuring media, publications, press formalities, and internal and external communications are effectively managed. The role aligns PR initiatives with the company’s strategic goals and operational priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a communications plan in line with YASREF strategy, goals and budget.
• Manage media relations to secure high‑level exposure across print, broadcast and online channels.
• Oversee internal communications including email, intranet, mobile and cross‑functional messaging, and conduct periodic surveys to improve effectiveness.
• Coordinate external communications such as press releases, conferences, advertising and community relations.
• Produce multimedia content (photography, videography) and create news stories for publication or broadcast.
• Plan and execute events within budget and schedule, and monitor cost effectiveness.
• Develop policies, guidelines and ensure compliance with internal controls and operational excellence standards.
• Manage corporate social responsibility activities and provide consultancy to other departments on communication materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, Public Relations or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant work experience in public relations or corporate communications.
