Development Operations Engineer

About the role

Rime is building a platform that processes thousands of real‑time video streams and sensor data to deliver operational insights. As a Development Operations Engineer (System Reliability Engineer), you will ensure the stability, speed and reliability of this platform, bridging software engineering and operations to keep services running with minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for backend services, frontend applications and AI/computer‑vision models.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Improve developer experience by reducing build times, streamlining local environments and removing operational bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with the AI team to automate the full machine‑learning lifecycle from training to production deployment.
• Integrate security testing (SAST/DAST) and secure secrets management into deployment pipelines.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience building CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Strong practical knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform or Ansible) and at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Experience embedding security checks and managing secrets using solutions such as HashiCorp Vault or AWS Secrets Manager.
• Familiarity with MLOps concepts and the challenges of deploying AI and computer‑vision models.
