Director – Career & Talent Management

About the role

The Director of Career & Talent Management will lead STC’s career development programs and talent planning activities. This senior position ensures a robust pipeline of high‑performing employees aligned with the company’s future business needs and institutionalises clear career paths across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in developing and implementing the Career Management General Directorate plans in line with corporate objectives.
• Direct and manage the Career & Talent Management Department, providing leadership to achieve high performance standards.
• Control change initiatives, offering guidance for continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and quality standards.
• Support strategy formulation for the General Manager Career Management and lead the execution of sector‑specific strategies.
• Review and update STC’s employee competency dictionary to reflect business requirements.
• Plan individual career paths for high‑achieving candidates based on future organisational needs.
• Coordinate with the Performance & Rewards Department to align performance management programs with competency development.
• Design and maintain the employee competencies database and oversee on‑the‑job training for employees at Level 4 and below.
• Assist the Management Training Department in finalising vendor contracts and defining scopes for assessment centres.
