Director Government Stakeholder Management

About the role

A multinational organisation with its Saudi offices in Riyadh is hiring a Director of Government Stakeholder Management and Strategic Partnerships through Michael Page. The role supports and manages a team focused on external stakeholder work, mainly with government entities, while also handling the regular P&L responsibilities of a commercial director. It suits someone with strong existing relationships and an understanding of the medical device ecosystem in Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic partnership plans to drive business growth.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the life sciences industry.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen commercial enablement strategies.
• Oversee the negotiation and execution of partnership agreements.
• Monitor market trends and provide insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
• Ensure partnership initiatives align with organisational goals and evaluate their effectiveness, recommending improvements.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in the life sciences industry with a focus on strategic partnerships.
• Strong commercial acumen and a track record of driving business growth.
• Experience managing and negotiating partnership agreements.
• Existing networks within group purchasing organisations and other government bodies in the healthcare ecosystem.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management in English and Arabic.
• Results-driven mindset focused on strategic objectives.
• Saudi nationality, as the position is open only to Saudi nationals at this time.

What we offer

• Annual salary of SAR 810,000 to SAR 990,000.
