Director of Fraud Technology

About the role

Contribute to the development and execution of the Bank’s Counter Fraud technology and analytics strategy in line with overall risk management objectives. The role oversees implementation and enhancement of fraud detection systems while ensuring compliance with SAMA regulations and internal governance frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee implementation and continuous improvement of fraud detection systems to align with the Bank’s objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the introduction of innovative fraud prevention tools and automation solutions to detect emerging threats.
• Manage system monitoring, rule optimization, and fine‑tuning based on fraud trends and product developments.
• Ensure robustness and scalability of fraud management technologies to support digital transformation and growth.
• Analyze fraud data to identify trends, emerging threats, and control weaknesses, delivering data‑driven responses.
• Direct development of fraud trend analysis reports using advanced statistical, machine learning, and visualization tools.
• Leverage network and behavioral analytics to uncover hidden connections and improve predictive detection.
• Foster collaboration across technology, risk, compliance, and business units for seamless integration of fraud prevention capabilities.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years experience in fraud, compliance technology, or IT risk.
• Experience within the banking industry.
• Proven leadership experience in technology or risk functions.
• Hands‑on experience with IBM SP and SAP BO.
