Director of People & Culture

About the role

Rewaa is seeking a Director of People & Culture to lead the complete people agenda for its fast‑growing SaaS retail platform. Reporting to the executive team, you will shape the strategy that attracts, develops and retains talent while ensuring operational excellence, governance and compliance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Translate Rewaa’s business strategy into a multi‑year people plan covering workforce planning, organisational design, talent strategy and culture.
• Act as trusted advisor to the CEO, COO and C‑suite on organisational effectiveness, succession and strategic workforce decisions.
• Lead organisational design and re‑organisations as headcount scales from 300 to several hundred employees, owning the headcount plan and people P&L in partnership with Finance.
• Own the Talent Acquisition function, delivering aggressive hiring targets across engineering, product, commercial and operations, and building the employer brand in Saudi Arabia.
• Design and maintain compensation philosophy, salary bands and administer the Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP) in coordination with Finance and Legal.
• Develop career frameworks, competency models and management capability programmes, and identify high‑leverage learning investments, including government‑subsidised upskilling programmes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior HR generalist or director responsible for the full employee lifecycle.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership and influence organisational strategy.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi talent programmes and the regional tech talent market.
• Track record of scaling people operations in high‑growth SaaS or technology companies.
