Director of Projects

About the role

Egis is seeking a visionary Director of Projects to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of major initiatives in Riyadh. You will shape project strategy, ensure alignment with organisational goals, and drive excellence across all project functions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate a clear project vision and strategic roadmap.
• Oversee end‑to‑end project planning, scheduling, and execution for high‑value programmes.
• Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and report financial performance.
• Implement risk management frameworks and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including engineering, procurement, finance, and quality assurance.
• Mentor and develop project management staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in managing large‑scale engineering or construction projects.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate organisational goals into actionable project plans.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to control budgets, optimise resources, and deliver projects on time.
• Experience in risk assessment, mitigation, and compliance oversight.
