About the role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Electrical Inspector – Field Engineer to join our Riyadh team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment at various client sites while ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
Key responsibilities
- Install, commission, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components at project sites.
- Conduct thorough site inspections and technical assessments to identify performance issues.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults using diagnostic tools and analytical problem‑solving techniques.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on power distribution and equipment.
- Test and verify equipment functionality with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and specialized software.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols, electrical codes, and industry standards.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications in technical reports.
- Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and engineering teams to optimize system performance.
- Identify opportunities for system improvements and recommend efficiency solutions.
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls and provide technical support as needed.
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical field installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and industrial equipment.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and testing equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, clamp meters).
- Solid understanding of electrical safety protocols and standards (IEC, NFPA, local regulations).
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Organized approach with ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and effective teamwork abilities.
