Electrical Tender Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Tender Engineer to lead the preparation of competitive electrical bids for construction and MEP projects. You will work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate and profitable tender submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Study and analyse tender documents, BOQ, and technical specifications for electrical works.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and pricing for LV, MV, ELV, lighting, and power systems.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations.
• Review drawings and technical sub‑mittals to confirm scope alignment.
• Prepare technical and commercial clarification letters during the tender stage.
• Liaise with planning and technical office teams for methodology and programme inputs.
• Maintain a database of unit rates, subcontractor rates, and material pricing.
• Support post‑tender negotiations and value‑engineering exercises.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in tendering/estimation within construction or MEP contracting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, standards, and Saudi market rates.
• Excellent command of English; Arabic is a plus.
