Engineer II, NVH

About the role

The Plant NVH Engineer supports Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) quality activities within Lucid’s manufacturing environment. This mid‑level position focuses on end‑of‑line vehicle quality validation, launch support, data analysis, and production issue investigations to ensure vehicles meet customer expectations and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily plant NVH quality metrics and production trends.
• Maintain and improve end‑of‑line NVH screening processes and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze production data to identify quality concerns and emerging trends.
• Participate in root‑cause investigations for noise, vibration, and harshness issues.
• Collect and analyze test data, support containment activities, and validate corrective actions.
• Assist with NVH readiness during vehicle launches and production ramp‑up.
• Perform objective and subjective vehicle evaluations using specialized measurement equipment.

Required profile

• Experience in automotive or manufacturing environments, preferably with NVH focus.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Proficiency in interpreting test data and documenting findings.
• Effective communication skills for reporting to engineering, quality, and production teams.

Required skills

• Use of microphones for acoustic measurements.
• Use of accelerometers for vibration analysis.
• Familiarity with SCADAS systems for data acquisition.
• Experience with Squadriga systems for NVH testing.
