Engineering Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead the daily maintenance operations at Holiday Inn Riyadh Rose Yard. You will ensure that all building systems, equipment, and facilities meet IHG’s high standards of safety, efficiency, and guest comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise engineering technicians and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, kitchen and building systems.
• Assign work orders, monitor progress, and guarantee timely completion of maintenance requests.
• Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, back‑of‑house facilities and plant rooms.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, provide guidance to technicians, and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports and preventive schedules.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Security and other departments to minimise disruption.
• Oversee contractor work, ensure compliance with safety and brand standards, and promote energy‑conservation initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services or a related field.
• 3–5 years of engineering maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations and occupational health and safety requirements.
