Entry-Level Planning Officer – Project Coordination

About the role

The Planning Officer will support project teams by preparing planning data, monitoring progress, and ensuring that projects stay on schedule and within budget. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates who want to develop their skills in construction planning and cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing planning data for weekly and monthly project progress reports.
• Compile manpower and material procurement reports in line with approved programmes.
• Maintain project files and input data for Planning Engineers.
• Support the development and use of innovative planning tools and techniques.
• Monitor day‑to‑day work progress and communicate potential delays.
• Compare planned versus actual progress and report variances.
• Update schedules, progress monitoring, and reporting tools.
• Enter progress updates into Excel or related software.
• Collaborate with vendors, managers, and other project stakeholders.
• Participate in HSE initiatives and safety awareness activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Solid understanding of organizational and document planning techniques.
• Ability to prepare accurate reports and maintain project documentation.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with project teams.

Required skills

• Functional knowledge of SAP (ERP) systems.
