Environment, Health and Safety Manager

About the role

The Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager will support the Director of Quality & Safety in developing, implementing and maintaining the company’s HSE policies and procedures. The role ensures compliance with local regulations, corporate standards and aviation safety management system (SMS) requirements, while fostering a proactive safety culture across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and enforcement of HSE policies, procedures and governmental standards.
• Participate in hazard analysis, risk assessments, safety investigations and corrective action follow‑up.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of ISO 45001 OHS and ISO 14001 EMS standards.
• Conduct quarterly safety and facility surveys, internal HSE audits and equipment inspections (first‑aid kits, defibrillators, fire extinguishers, eye‑wash stations).
• Promote a just‑culture environment by providing coaching, information and training to stakeholders.
• Maintain daily safety walk‑arounds and ensure proper functioning of all safety equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or HSE.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the HSE field, preferably within aviation.
• NEBOSH IGC Certificate and OSHA training.
• Familiarity with ICAO SMS and related aviation safety standards.
