Estimation Administrator

About the role

The Estimation Administrator examines damaged vehicles, assesses the extent of structural, mechanical and interior damage, and prepares detailed cost estimates for repairs or replacements. This role supports the body shop manager and insurance processes by providing accurate and timely estimates.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles to determine the scope of structural, body, mechanical, and interior damage.
• Calculate labor and parts costs required for each repair item.
• Review and discuss repair cost estimates with the body shop manager.
• Assess feasibility of repair versus part replacement (e.g., bumpers, fenders, doors).
• Evaluate whether to repair the vehicle or consider its market value before the accident.
• Determine salvage value for total loss vehicles.
• Complete insurance forms with repair cost estimates and recommendations.
• Estimate costs for repainting, special conversions, or customizations of undamaged vehicles.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automotive, Engines and Vehicle technology or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in a similar estimation or automotive assessment role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in English.
