About the role
The Executive Director of Government Excellence & Institutional Reform will lead high‑impact initiatives that improve the efficiency, transparency, and accountability of public‑sector operations. This senior position requires deep knowledge of public administration, institutional behavior, and reform methodologies, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with government officials, NGOs, and civil‑society partners.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans that align with the organization’s vision for government excellence and institutional reform.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in designing, implementing, and evaluating innovative programs that enhance public services and institutional performance.
- Collaborate with senior government officials and stakeholders to assess existing frameworks and identify reform opportunities.
- Use data‑driven insights to inform policy decisions, optimize resource allocation, and monitor program effectiveness.
- Champion a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation across all levels of the organization.
Required profile
- Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in government, public administration, or related fields.
- Proven track record of managing large‑scale projects and driving organizational change.
- Expertise in policy analysis, development, and implementation within public‑sector contexts.
- Strong understanding of public budgeting, finance, and resource management.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence executive‑level stakeholders.
