Executive Manager – Local Government (WR)

About the role

The Executive Manager for Local Government will lead Mobily's sales and retention activities for government accounts across the Kingdom. Reporting to senior leadership, the role is responsible for driving revenue growth, building long‑term client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of strategic sales initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct and monitor all sales activity for the local‑government segment to exceed agreed sales, retention, growth and profit targets.
• Present sales targets and plans to the team and ensure alignment with Mobily’s annual budget.
• Develop and maintain profitable relationships with existing and prospective government customers.
• Research new sales opportunities through alternative channels such as personal contacts and industry fairs.
• Liaise with Business Care, Partnership Development & Planning, Presales and Technical Project Management to ensure a unified customer approach.
• Monitor competitor activity and recommend actions.
• Oversee performance of Large Enterprise sales employees nationally, providing feedback, recruiting, and career development.
• Define and execute strategic account penetration plans for top prospective accounts.
• Contribute to segment sales strategy, budgeting, performance forecasts and resource allocation.
• Support Marketing initiatives with statistics and insights.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in sales leadership and account management, preferably within the telecom sector.
• Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies that achieve revenue and profit targets.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including coordination with cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent analytical skills to monitor market trends and competitor activity.
