Facility Management Director

About the role

Egis, an international engineering, consulting and construction firm operating in 100 countries, is hiring a Facility Management Director in Riyadh. The Director provides strategic, technical and operational leadership for the full lifecycle management of the organisation's built and natural assets, overseeing FM and Landscape Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services across a complex, multi-site programme. The role also supports RCRC with overall Landscape O&M support during the lifecycle of all programme components.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the FM and Landscape O&M strategy aligned with corporate objectives, and set up governance, performance management, SLAs and KPIs for all FM disciplines
• Lead asset management planning, including lifecycle cost modelling, capital replacement strategies and sustainability improvements
• Represent the FM function at executive committees, senior leadership briefings and cross-government steering groups
• Guide assets through design review, mobilisation, operation, maintenance, optimisation and decommissioning, ensuring availability, resilience and compliance
• Direct the mobilisation of FM and O&M contracts, operational readiness programmes and contractor onboarding and performance
• Lead procurement strategies, technical documentation, scopes of work and RFPs, manage tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation and contract award
• Maintain budgetary and financial control, including cost forecasting, contract variations, cash-flow analysis and risk tracking, and drive value engineering
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental and HSE requirements, and oversee risk registers, emergency preparedness and business continuity plans
• Implement quality assurance frameworks, review O&M delivery and implement corrective measures
• Serve as senior point of contact for government entities, municipalities, regulators, clients and community groups, and lead presentations, reporting and workshops
• Lead, mentor and develop a multi-disciplinary team of FM, landscape, engineering and O&M professionals, and drive training to close capability gaps
