Site Engineer

About the role

A Site Engineer is needed in NEOM, Saudi Arabia, to supervise and coordinate the execution of operational work across several sites (5-10) from handover until project closure. The role covers mobilization, procurement, installation, commissioning and monitoring within the contract scope, and acts as a single point of contact for the Line Manager and the Operations team.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate operational work for multiple sites, including mobilization, procurement, installation, commissioning and monitoring.
• Handle documentation and collection formalities for equipment and materials, separating them into reusable, rework and disposal categories.
• Coordinate daily operations and report progress to the Line Manager every day.
• Produce daily site reports for each job, highlighting potential delays, issues, damage reports, safety violations and deviations from project scope.
• Monitor assigned resources on site and optimize their use to minimize overtime and other costs.
• Manage action assets and resources efficiently, and act as the main contact for site operations matters.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an internationally recognized university.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Experience in construction or engineering with high turnover and activity, and in supervising multiple construction projects.
• Ability to set clear priorities, delegate and guide personnel across multiple sites.
• Knowledge of groundwater control is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Accurate preparation of daily system history reports and recording of project activities in the Resource Management System.
