Facility Management Director

About the role

Egis, an international engineering, consulting and construction firm operating in 100 countries, is hiring a Facility Management Director in Riyadh. The Director provides strategic, technical and operational leadership for the full lifecycle management of the organisation's built and natural assets, overseeing FM and Landscape Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services across a complex, multi-site programme. The role also supports RCRC with landscape O&M throughout the lifecycle of all programme components and advises the Executive Leadership, Government Agencies and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the FM and Landscape O&M strategy aligned with corporate objectives, and set governance, performance management, SLAs and KPIs.
• Lead asset management planning, including lifecycle cost modelling, capital replacement and sustainability improvements.
• Guide assets through design review, mobilisation, operation, maintenance, optimisation and decommissioning, ensuring availability, resilience and compliance.
• Direct the mobilisation of FM and O&M contracts, operational readiness programmes and contractor onboarding.
• Lead procurement strategies, technical documentation, RFPs and the full tendering process, including bid evaluation, negotiation and contract award.
• Maintain budgetary and financial control, including cost forecasting, contract variations, cash flow and risk tracking, and drive value engineering.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental and HSE requirements, and oversee risk registers, emergency preparedness and business continuity plans.
• Serve as senior point of contact for government entities, municipalities, clients and community groups, and lead executive reporting and stakeholder engagement.
• Lead, mentor and develop a multi-disciplinary team, covering training, succession planning and professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, urban design, architecture, landscape or equivalent.
• At least 15 years of experience in Facilities and Asset Management of large, complex, multi-site environments.
• Deep knowledge of O&M across hard services, soft services, infrastructure and large-scale landscape environments.
