About the role

The KAPSARC School of Public Policy (KSPP) seeks a faculty member to lead research, teaching, and outreach in science, technology, and environmental policy. The position focuses on public‑sector issues and connects with public policy, public affairs, and economics. The role is based on the state‑of‑the‑art KAPSARC campus in Riyadh.

Key responsibilities

• Teach graduate‑level courses aligned with the candidate’s research expertise.
• Develop and contribute to public‑sector curriculum.
• Supervise capstone projects, theses, and student research.
• Maintain an active research agenda with publications in top‑ranked journals.
• Participate in the academic community and contribute to the school’s scholarly environment.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in public policy, public affairs, environmental studies, sustainability science, environmental economics, environmental sociology, political science, or a closely related field.
• Strong theoretical orientation and excellent methodological expertise.
• Demonstrated ability to publish in highly ranked academic journals.
• Potential for effective graduate‑level teaching.
