Head of Mathematics & Physics – American Curriculum

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Mathematics & Physics to design and lead a new American high‑school program in Saudi Arabia. This senior position will shape the curriculum, drive instructional innovation, and teach one course while overseeing a hybrid learning model.

Key responsibilities

• Design Grade 9‑10 Mathematics & Physics curricula, including units, lesson plans, assessments and homework for a hybrid platform.
• Lead, train and support a team of Mathematics & Physics teachers.
• Deliver one online Mathematics section beginning August, aligned with curriculum outcomes.
• Continuously adapt and improve lessons using digital and AI‑enabled tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to refine curriculum, delivery methods and learning journeys.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience designing American high‑school Mathematics & Physics curricula aligned to CCSS and NGSS.
• Experience teaching students for whom English is a second language.
• Recognized teaching qualification (BA/MA in subject area, TESOL, CELTA, etc.).
• Native English speaker from an English‑speaking country.
• Available full‑time Sunday‑to‑Thursday (GMT+3) with possible flexible half‑day schedule.

Required skills

• Familiarity with AI tools for education.
• Proficiency with EdTech and digital learning platforms.
