F&B Attendant

About the role

A Radisson hotel in Riyadh is looking for a F&B Attendant to greet and serve guests in the dining area. The role covers taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling cash and payments, and keeping the dining space clean and organised.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages accurately and on time.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining and service areas.
• Assist in setting up dining rooms or banquet halls for events.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and courteously.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to guests.
• Cash handling and processing payments from guests, operating and maintaining point-of-sale systems.
• Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
• Participate in training, help train new team members, give feedback on menu selections and attend management briefings.
• Collaborate with kitchen, housekeeping and front desk to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure, and to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Willingness to adhere to grooming and dress code standards.

Required skills

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of food and beverage menus and some basic culinary skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
