Finance Director – Institutional Finance & Real Estate

About the role

The group is seeking a Finance Director to lead the institutionalization of its finance function and oversee a diversified, asset‑heavy portfolio. This senior position blends real‑estate transaction expertise with the strategic oversight of high‑growth subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial structuring and due diligence for large‑scale real‑estate acquisitions and development projects.
• Drive the transition to international finance standards, including IFRS remediation and group‑wide reporting harmonization.
• Oversee portfolio performance, providing board‑level analysis of IRR, NPV and capital allocation.
• Manage treasury and debt strategy, cultivating relationships with regional banks for project financing and liquidity management.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to international operating platforms, ensuring working‑capital efficiency and disciplined financial controls.

Required profile

• 12+ years of senior finance leadership in investment firms, holdings, private‑equity or real‑estate investment arms.
• Proven track record in structuring and executing large real‑estate deals.
• Demonstrated experience professionalising finance departments and building institutional‑grade systems.
• Native‑level Arabic fluency and ability to conduct board‑level discussions in Arabic and English.
• Professional designation such as CA, CPA or CFA.
