Finance Director

About the role

The Finance Director will lead the Finance function, providing expertise across financial planning, controlling, accounting, fixed‑asset management and treasury. This senior position ensures alignment with regulations and best practices while supporting the organization’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the Shared Services business plan and develop the Finance operational plan.
• Discuss budgeting requirements with top management and oversee the budgeting process.
• Design and implement finance policies and procedures to meet legislative and procedural requirements.
• Guide financial planning, control frameworks and the yearly financial plan.
• Oversee accounting activities including payables, receivables, general ledger, fixed assets and reconciliations.
• Monitor treasury activities and develop related guidelines.
• Identify and propose initiatives that generate positive financial impact and mitigate risks.
• Ensure day‑to‑day compliance with policies and stay updated on leading practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a finance function and providing expertise in financial planning, controlling, accounting and treasury.
• Ability to develop and implement finance policies, procedures and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Experience collaborating with senior management on budgeting and strategic financial planning.
• Strong analytical skills to review financial statements and drive corrective actions.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and best practices in shared services environments.
