Finance Director - M&A, IPO and Fin Ops

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Director to lead and scale the finance function of a high‑growth technology company operating in Saudi Arabia. The role combines finance operations, strategic finance, M&A and IPO expertise to support the next stage of rapid expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead finance operations including reporting, accounting, treasury, controls, tax and financial governance.
• Design and implement scalable finance processes, systems and controls.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, financial modelling and management reporting.
• Partner with the CEO, leadership team and Board on financial strategy and decision‑making.
• Drive IPO readiness, ensuring institutional‑quality reporting, controls, audit and capital‑markets preparation.
• Support M&A activities: due diligence, valuation, transaction execution and post‑integration.
• Manage relationships with auditors, investors, investment banks and financial institutions.
• Build and develop a high‑performing finance team and promote a culture of analytical rigor.
• Lead finance transformation through automation, data and technology.

Required profile

• 12–18+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in technology, SaaS, fintech or similar high‑growth environments.
• Proven track record scaling finance functions in fast‑growing businesses.
• Hands‑on experience with IPO preparation and execution.
• Significant M&A and transaction experience.
• Deep knowledge of the Saudi market, regulations and stakeholder landscape.
• Fluent Arabic speaker currently based in KSA.
