Finance Director – M&A, IPO & Financial Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to join the leadership team of a high‑growth technology company operating in Saudi Arabia. The role combines deep finance‑operations expertise with strategic responsibilities across M&A, IPO preparation, and financial transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and scale finance operations, including reporting, accounting, treasury, tax, controls and governance.
• Design and implement scalable finance processes, systems and controls to support rapid expansion.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, financial modelling and management reporting.
• Partner with the CEO, Board and senior leadership on financial strategy and decision‑making.
• Drive IPO readiness, ensuring institutional‑quality reporting, controls, audit and capital‑markets preparation.
• Support M&A and corporate development activities, including due diligence, valuation, transaction execution and post‑integration.
• Manage relationships with auditors, investors, investment banks, advisors and financial institutions.
• Build and develop a high‑performing finance team and foster a culture of analytical rigor.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives through automation, data analytics and technology.

Required profile

• 12–18+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in technology, SaaS, fintech or similar high‑growth environments.
• Hands‑on finance operations and controllership experience with a proven track record of scaling finance functions.
• Strong FP&A and financial modelling capabilities.
• Demonstrated IPO or IPO‑readiness experience.
• Significant M&A and transaction experience.
• Deep knowledge of the Saudi market, regulatory environment and local stakeholder landscape.
• Experience working closely with CEOs, Boards, investors, auditors and external advisors.
• Excellent communication skills, executive presence and fluency in Arabic and English.
• Strong academic credentials (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering) with MBA, CFA, ACA, ACCA or CPA highly valued.
