Finance Manager – Saudi Arabia

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead end‑to‑end finance operations in Saudi Arabia, ensuring strong financial control, compliance and alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. The role combines cash‑flow management, credit risk analysis, costing accuracy, and process optimisation, particularly in accounts payable and payments.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily finance operations, ensuring alignment with company policies, budgets and objectives.
• Manage cash flow and liquidity to meet operational needs while mitigating financial and interest risks.
• Perform credit risk analysis on customers and ensure targeted daily sales outstanding is met.
• Lead initiatives to optimise financial processes, especially accounts payable and payments.
• Maintain the fixed‑asset register and ensure capital expenditures are properly approved.
• Prepare, monitor and manage annual budgets, tracking actual expenditures against approved budgets and analysing variances.
• Produce monthly financial reports, forecasts and variance analysis against budgeted figures.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, tax and regulatory requirements (including ZATCA) and oversee quarterly VAT submissions.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and banks, and support ad‑hoc finance projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of finance or accounting experience, with at least 3 years in an operational finance role.
• Proven experience leading a team of at least 5 staff members.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance and risk management.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple priorities.

• Proficiency in SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
