Financial Audit Executive

About the role

The Financial Audit Executive will support the Public Investment Fund (PIF) by delivering high‑quality internal audit activities across finance‑related functions and projects. This role ensures compliance, risk mitigation, and operational effectiveness while safeguarding PIF’s interests.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing a risk‑based internal audit plan for non‑investment finance areas.
• Conduct independent fieldwork, delivering timely and high‑quality audit reviews for assigned engagements.
• Perform integrated audits in collaboration with Digital & Technology and Business Operations teams.
• Prepare regular progress updates, raise significant findings, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Validate observation closures within defined timeframes.
• Ensure conformance with technology audit standards, internal policies, and applicable regulations.
• Support operational excellence initiatives and propose improvements to systems, processes, and controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, Business or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in audit, finance or related fields.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, CISA or equivalent is preferred.
