Fitout Draughtsman – Commercial Interiors

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Fitout Draughtsman to join ALEC FITOUT’s Technical Department. You will translate interior design concepts into precise shop drawings and production files for high‑end hospitality, retail and commercial projects across the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Create accurate 2D and 3D CAD+T drawings for bespoke joinery and furniture items.
• Generate machine‑ready CNC files, cutting lists and bills of materials.
• Coordinate with production teams to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with design intent.
• Maintain drawing versions and align them with project requirements.
• Optimize material usage and support quality‑control processes during manufacturing.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in joinery drafting and production detailing.
• Technical qualification in drafting, joinery or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work closely with designers, engineers and factory staff.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (CAD+T).
• Experience preparing CNC files and cutting lists.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings.
• Competence with MS Office applications.
