Fleet Safety Assistant Analyst

About the role

The Fleet Safety Assistant Analyst supports PepsiCo’s Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives on the shop floor, ensuring that safety standards are applied consistently across fleet operations. The role focuses on coaching teams, conducting inspections, and driving continuous improvement in safety performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide EHS advice, guidance, and coaching to area teams, supporting implementation of all safety requirements.
• Assist the Regional EHS Manager in developing, implementing, and monitoring EHS policies and procedures.
• Perform regular safety checks and inspections, preparing detailed reports.
• Conduct behavioral safety observations and support the development of a behavioral safety program.
• Coordinate and deliver EHS training sessions as identified by the EHS manager.
• Generate driver behavior evaluation reports, communicate findings, and follow up promptly.
• Monitor compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE), key safety behaviors (KSBs), and safe work practices (SWPs), taking corrective actions and escalating when necessary.
• Maintain and update safety logs, registers, and related documentation.

Required profile

• Experience providing EHS advisory and coaching on the shop floor.
• Proven ability to conduct safety inspections and produce clear reports.
• Familiarity with behavioral safety observations and driver behavior evaluation.
• Capability to coordinate and deliver safety training programs.
• Strong attention to detail for monitoring PPE, KSBs, and SWPs compliance.
• Ability to maintain accurate safety documentation and logs.
