Forward Deployed Engineer, Infrastructure Specialist

About the role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, Infrastructure Specialist you will bridge Cohere's North AI platform with enterprise customers, leading secure deployments in private‑cloud and on‑premises environments across Europe and the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end deployment of North, handling planning, configuration, testing and rollout.
• Partner with enterprise IT teams to assess infrastructure, security and data‑management requirements.
• Experiment rapidly while maintaining high quality to exceed customer expectations.
• Design and implement deployment strategies that meet data‑privacy and security standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment‑related technical issues to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Experience working directly with customers on technical solutions.
• Background deploying enterprise software in private or hybrid cloud environments.
• Proven administration of production Kubernetes clusters and expertise with Helm.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and version‑control tools such as Git.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP), networking and virtualization.
• Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, priority‑driven settings.
