Forward Deployed Engineer – Infrastructure Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer who will act as the technical bridge between Cohere’s North AI platform and enterprise customers across Europe and the Middle East. You will lead the secure deployment of AI solutions in private‑cloud and on‑premises environments, working closely with client IT teams to ensure seamless integration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end deployment of the North platform in private cloud and on‑premises settings, from planning through rollout.
• Partner with enterprise IT teams to assess infrastructure, security, and data‑management requirements.
• Experiment rapidly while maintaining high quality to deliver solutions that exceed customer expectations.
• Design and implement deployment strategies that comply with data‑privacy and security standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment‑related technical issues to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Proven experience working directly with customers on technical projects.
• Background deploying enterprise software in private or hybrid cloud environments.
• Hands‑on experience administering production Kubernetes clusters and using Helm.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools such as Git.
• Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP), networking, and virtualization.
• Ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments with shifting priorities.
