Full Professor of Business Administration

About the role

The College of Business Administration at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University is seeking a Full Professor of Business Administration for a full-time faculty position in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Teaching takes place during the Fall and Spring semesters, with possible summer teaching, and classes may be held day or evening. The load ranges from 12 credit hours for Full Professors to 18-20 for Lecturers.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate business administration courses and, where applicable, graduate-level courses.
• Contribute to school and faculty policy and practice in teaching and research.
• Help design, develop and plan courses and programmes, and take part in reviews, assessment, quality assurance and enhancement.
• Develop innovative learning and teaching approaches, give timely feedback on coursework and exams, and advise students.
• Take part in faculty meetings, committees, accreditation initiatives and the recruitment and mentoring of colleagues.

Required profile

• Doctorate in Business Administration, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Operations Management or a closely related field from an accredited Western residential university.
• Excellent oral and written English.
• At least three years of demonstrated teaching excellence in programmes taught in English.
• Active research record with publications in refereed journals and at conferences.
• Willingness to serve the university and community, and familiarity with technology-infused academic environments.
• Beneficial: experience with AACSB accreditation and previous experience in the Middle East or GCC.
• A promotion letter from an academic institution attesting to the rank of Full Professor.
