Full-Stack Engineer – Middleware & Banking Integrations

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Full‑Stack Engineer to join our Middleware team and build secure integrations between our bank and external banking partners. This remote position focuses on designing and maintaining money‑transfer interfaces that ensure reliable, compliant, and secure communication across financial institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Spring Boot and Apache Camel.
• Build and support middleware interfaces for inter‑bank money transfers.
• Interpret external bank API specifications and implement integrations accordingly.
• Collaborate with external banks and internal IT/security teams to manage IP whitelisting, VPN connections, and certificates.
• Ensure high reliability, security, and performance of integration flows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration and connectivity issues.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.

Required profile

• Strong backend experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and message‑based integrations.
• Familiarity with security concepts such as TLS, certificates, VPNs, and network whitelisting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical API documentation.
• Experience with banking or financial systems is a strong plus.
