General Counsel – Remote (Global)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive US‑bar‑admitted General Counsel to lead our in‑house legal function across three high‑growth workstreams: a top‑5 direct‑to‑consumer e‑commerce brand, a family office investing in hedge funds, and cross‑border legal structuring for multiple jurisdictions. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own critical legal domains and drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee FTC compliance, consumer‑protection, and e‑commerce regulatory matters.
• Manage hedge‑fund subscription, custody protocols, and LP‑side‑letter negotiations.
• Design and implement cross‑border asset‑structuring strategies.
• Coordinate and supervise outside‑counsel relationships across all domains.
• Deliver monthly legal exposure audits and quarterly compliance sweeps to the executive team.

Required profile

• US Bar admission and extensive experience in corporate, securities, and consumer‑law matters.
• Proven ability to operate across multiple legal domains simultaneously.
• Strong analytical mindset with a track record of identifying material legal risks.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort reporting directly to C‑level leadership.
