General Manager – Project Management Office (PMO) – Real Estate

About the role

The General Manager – Project Management Office (PMO) will lead the PMO across a portfolio of giga‑scale real estate developments, including master‑planned communities, mixed‑use, residential, commercial, hospitality and infrastructure projects. The role ensures robust governance, project controls and delivery assurance throughout the entire project lifecycle, aligning outcomes with business objectives and investment strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the PMO function across multiple large‑scale real estate development projects.
• Establish and maintain governance frameworks, delivery standards, policies and procedures.
• Provide executive oversight of project performance, risks and strategic priorities.
• Oversee portfolio‑wide schedule, cost, risk, change and reporting functions.
• Monitor performance against baselines, budgets and milestones, and drive forecasting and analysis.
• Lead stage‑gate reviews, project assurance processes and readiness assessments.
• Implement industry‑leading project management practices and digital transformation initiatives.
• Coordinate with development, design, construction, finance, commercial and asset‑management teams.
• Build and lead a high‑performing PMO organization, developing talent and succession plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Real Estate Development, Project Management or related field.
• MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
• Significant experience in project delivery, development management or project controls within large‑scale real estate.
• Proven senior‑level leadership of PMO or similar functions.
