About the role

The University of Prince Mohammed (UPM) seeks a highly qualified Saudi professional to lead its Media and Institutional Identity Unit. This senior position is responsible for shaping the university’s visual and communication identity, ensuring consistent branding across all channels, and aligning media activities with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Media and Institutional Identity Unit and implement the university’s media plan.
• Develop, oversee, and monitor approved media and identity plans.
• Ensure quality, consistency, and timeliness of media initiatives and identity campaigns.
• Prepare periodic performance reports for senior management.
• Guide teams in producing university‑compliant materials across all platforms.
• Coordinate media coverage for university events and initiatives.
• Maintain organized archives of media outputs and identity assets.
• Oversee official media and digital platforms in collaboration with technical units.
• Ensure compliance with university policies and Saudi regulations.
• Provide advisory input on media and identity matters to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communication, Marketing, Graphic Design or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in media, branding or institutional communication.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in higher education or a large institution.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
