Head of Non-Food Private Brand

About the role

The Head of Non-Food Private Brand will lead the strategic development, growth and profitability of Panda’s private‑brand portfolio across the assigned non‑food categories. Reporting to senior commercial leadership, you will translate category strategies into competitive assortments, supplier partnerships and successful product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute private‑brand category and business strategies to meet sales, margin, penetration and quality targets.
• Own end‑to‑end private‑brand development, including product briefs, specifications, benchmarking, supplier sourcing (local and import), cost negotiation and launch execution.
• Manage annual business plans, budgets and forecasts, ensuring delivery against financial KPIs.
• Lead range architecture, innovation pipelines and launch plans aligned with overall category strategies.
• Analyse sales, margin, rate of sale and customer feedback to optimise range performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain strategic supplier relationships and negotiate commercial terms to secure optimal cost structures, service levels and quality standards.
• Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders (Buying, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Packaging, Marketing) for aligned and timely execution.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Management, Marketing or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in FMCG/CPG retail or manufacturing, with responsibility for private‑brand or category management, product development, sourcing and commercial negotiations.
• Strong business and commercial acumen with data‑driven analytical and problem‑solving skills.
