Healthcare Information Systems Implementation Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Healthcare Information Systems Implementation Specialist to join our team in Saudi Arabia. You will lead the deployment, configuration, and optimisation of healthcare information platforms, with a strong focus on Blood Bank Information Systems (BBIS), ensuring reliable performance and alignment with operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business processes and stakeholder requirements to define system needs and implementation goals.
• Install, configure, test, and deploy healthcare information systems, including BBIS.
• Ensure system compatibility, performance, security, and data integrity throughout projects.
• Customise software solutions to meet clinical, operational, and business requirements.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and end‑user training to facilitate successful adoption.
• Develop and maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with IT teams, healthcare professionals, and business stakeholders to improve workflows.
• Participate in data migration, system validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Support project planning, implementation, and post‑go‑live activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience implementing healthcare information systems such as HIS, LIS, or BBIS.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel for project implementations and customer support.
