Hotel Laundry Runner

About the role

The Laundry Runner ensures timely collection, transport, and delivery of hotel linen, uniforms and guest laundry across the property, supporting smooth operations and maintaining Rosewood’s brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collect soiled linens, uniforms and guest laundry from designated areas according to schedule.
• Transport items safely using carts, trolleys or racks between laundry, linen rooms, uniform rooms and operational departments.
• Deliver clean items to rooms, F&B outlets, spa, public areas and uniform rooms following assigned routes.
• Assist with basic sorting of laundry (clean vs. soiled) and report damaged or heavily soiled items.
• Handle guest garments discreetly, matching them with laundry tickets and maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen rooms, corridors and service areas, and keep carts in good condition.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene procedures, use PPE and report hazards or equipment issues.
• Adhere to departmental SOPs, brand standards and instructions from the Laundry Supervisor.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in housekeeping, laundry or porter/runner roles preferred.
• Reliability, ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Attention to hygiene, cleanliness and safety.

Required skills

• Safe operation of laundry carts and trolleys.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and manual handling techniques.
